CASE STUDY-

DJFM Industries Gramaphone Archive Service

We have nearly 320 singles/45rpm records, 100 gramophone records of various shapes and sizes, plus nearly a mountain of 200 Compact Cassettes! This is an estimated 770 individual pieces. This is not to mention also almost 500 LP records unlisted! Take a look for yourself at what there is in our collection - Our aim is to archive these recordings for future generations to enjoy and learn about the past. E-mail us for more information
CASE STUDY-We helped Australian Citizen Greg Stewart to search for a recording of Peter Dawson’s song "Wandering The King’s Highway” which we had digitally archived from our copy on a British HMV 78rpm record - Thanks to our technology and expertise, the recording was used as an upbeat send-off for his dad in MP3 Digitally Remastered Sound - Wed 20th May 2009
CASE STUDY- On December 31st 1998 We started our first Medium Wave Simulcast to Wormbridge - A complete 3 hour broadcast and programme resulted and the Radio SMASH Network was born. Many years later in December 2009 we broadcast the Glamorgan Debating Welsh Novice Competition live on internet Television from Glamorgan University's ATRium.

Since 1998, we've been at the forefront of ultra-local broadcasting, both "in-the-field" at outdoor events and with domestic broadcasts: Now due to loopholes and technical innovation, our broadcasting network is unlimited. MW/AM, FM, UHF TV and Radio broadcast solutions are now possible. We are steadily increasing the number of internet TV and Radio outlets as well by our long expertise. Give us a go!

Case Study-High Speed Tape Tests At the turn of the century, when analogue technology was being fast superceded by newer Digital formats, DJFM Industries used a broken cassette recorder to carried out a test to see how much fidelity you could get out of a normal cassette tape if recording at High Speed. A 90 Minute Cassette was reduced to 5mins playing time and a live sample of Bill Castle's Band was recorded - Unfortunately the system didn't take off due to the non-linearness of the process
